Thursday, the nephew of former President George W. Bush and son former Florida Governor Jeb Bush made a campaign filing in Texas that is required of candidates planning to run for political office.

George P. Bush, a nephew of former President George W. Bush and son of one-time Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, has made a campaign filing in Texas that is required of candidates planning to run for state office, an official said Thursday night.

George P. Bush founded Pennybacker Capital, which invests in and operates middle market multifamily, retail, office, and industrial assets in growth markets with a primary focus on the four major Texas markets.

The Texas based political action committee known as MavPac is spreading it's wings and going national.
