Still Uncertain: Plans, Funding For Lubbock County Expo Center [LISTEN]
Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Hasty talked about the latest news on the Lubbock County Expo Center, and the progress being made two years after voters approved an increase in local hotel/motel and rental car taxes to pay for the project.
Hasty shared details from a Lubbock Avalanche Journal article, and received a call from Lubbock County Commissioner Chad Seay (Precinct 4) to clarify points on the funding and progress in the project.
While speaking about the lack of concrete information on plans and funding that has been received so far from the Lubbock County Expo Center committee, Seay said,
I haven't seen any scope of work as far as when it's going to start, how big it's going to be, I don't know where they're at.
