State Representative and Chairman for the Committee on Insurance John Frullo joined Lubbock's First News Friday (Sept. 11). Frullo discussed Texas Mutual Insurance Company's recent legal case.

"Texas Mutual is reimbursing the Travis County DA's office for expenses when they go out and prosecute workers' comp fraud cases," said Frullo. "What started the whole case is a gentlemen out of the Midland/Odessa area felt that he was improperly prosecuted and went through, fought it and ended up winning a judgment against Texas Mutual in that case."

Texas Mutual is a more than $6 billion dollar company, writing over $1.1 billion of workers' comp insurance premiums.
