State Rep. Dustin Burrows Discusses Property Tax Reform Legislation

State Representative Dustin Burrows is Chairman of the Texas House Ways and Means Committee and is author of HB 2, property tax reform legislation. Last week, the House Ways and Means Committee held its first hearing on HB 2 and heard from well over 100 witnesses who signed up to speak about the legislation.

Burrows sat down with us on Thursday to discuss the timeline and importance of property tax legislation as well as laying out what he believes is the most important piece of the legislation.
