Here we go again!

While it may or may not feel like Spring to you, soon, all of Texas will be "springing forward" as Daylight Saving Time is getting closer. You may have noticed that there is a little more day light at the end of the day lately.

The good news? This might be the last time Texans have to change their clocks.

Daylight Saving Time Starts March 8

We have less than a month to go before we spring forward and lose an hour of sleep. At 2 a.m. on March 8, daylight saving time will begin and last until Sunday, November 1.

Didn't Texas Pass A Law Moving Texas To Permanent Daylight Saving Time?

Yes. In the past legislative session, Governor Abbott signed House Bill 1393. That bill would keep Texas on Daylight Saving Time all year. The only problem? Congress has to approve a bill allowing states to stay of DST.
