A shots fired call on Tuesday, April 21st in Lubbock ended with four people being arrested.

LPD responded to the call at around 12:23 a.m. in the 2900 block of East Baylor Street. The call said that a group of people were in the area when an altercation happened and shots were fired.

An officer attempted to stop the suspects in the 2900 block of East 7th Street but two suspects fled inside a residence.  The officer followed the suspects inside and was able to arrest them. Two other suspects observed leaving the area in a vehicle at a high speed were also arrested.

The four arrested were identified as 24-year-old Kenaris Jackson, 22-year-old Dante Willard, 51-year-old Bernadette Cooper and 55-year-old Gregory Murray.

All four were arrested for possession of a stolen firearm and possession of marijuana, Murray and Cooper both had outstanding warrants and Willard and Jackson were charged with evading arrest.
