Second Arrest Made in Murder of Christopher Jolly

At around 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 7th, Lubbock Police arrested a second person in connection to the murder of 17-year-old Christopher Jolly.
Police responded to a shots fired call in the 200 block of Zenith Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. on Monday, May 4th. Reports say there were ongoing tensions between Jolly and 2 others, and the tension is what caused the shooting.
Officers located Jolly with serious injuries and he was transported to UMC where he was pronounced dead.
22-year-old Jeremiah Guerrero was arrested on May 7th in the 200 block of Cherry Avenue, and 22-year-old Derik Edmond was arrested the day before.
Guerrero is being held in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $200,000 bond.
