Scott Braddock Says Meeting Scandal Not Over For Speaker Bonnen [INTERVIEW]
On Wednesday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show Scott Braddock, editor of Quorum Report, joined Chad to talk about all the latest issues in the great state of Texas.
Braddock and Hasty discussed the recent news about Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick's hospitalization, the state's investments in the marijuana industry, as well as Beto O'Rourke's campaign and political viability in the state.
Braddock also shared an update on the controversial meeting between Speaker Dennis Bonnen, Representative Dustin Burrows, and Michael Quinn Sullivan. While talking about the fallout from the meeting and Speaker Bonnen's current status in Austin, Braddock said,
You have Abbott and Patrick sort of trying to keep distance from Bonnen as he goes through this scandal. And I don't think it's behind him. I think you still see, even though he's asked for forgiveness, and there's a growing number of Republican House members who have said that he ought to be forgiven for saying terrible things, we still don't have all the facts on this.
