Ronald McDonald House to Host Red Shoe Shindig Fundraiser [Audio]

Monday on Lubbock's First News, Phyllis Jones, Director of Development for the Ronald McDonald House, gave details on their upcoming Red Shoe Shindig fundraiser.

The fundraiser will take place March 7 at 6:30 at the Merket Alumni Center. Food and musical entertainment will be provided, along with auctions and surprise guests. The event will help raise funds to support families who have children in medical care by providing a place to stay and a community. Jones said the charity "provides them a safe haven."
