Texas Tech University will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony next week to mark the end of construction on Dan Law Field. Construction on the field and Rip Griffin Park started in June of last year.  Included in the renovation are 10 luxury suites, a new press box with both radio and TV broadcasting areas, a stadium club level with seating for 75 and a new grandstand shading structure.

New individual chair-back seats will also be installed, replacing the metal benches. New seating will also be added at field level. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 10am Tuesday, February 9th at the facility. Texas Tech will play their first game in the renovated stadium February 17th.
