Attendance at Texas Tech’s baseball games are among the highest in the nation, according to new figures released Tuesday.

Red Raider baseball ranked 24th nationally in average home attendance, and 25th nationwide in total home attendance during the 2011 season, according to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.

Tech had an average of 2,271 fans per home game, which marks the program’s fifth highest all-time average and third highest attendance among the Big 12 program behind the University of Texas and Texas A&M.

Overall, 91,472 fans attended games at Dan Law Field during this season. This marks the 16th consecutive season Tech has ranked among the top 31 college teams in the nation in home attendance.
