Ratatouille hasn't had the easiest start in life. She, along with nine other dogs, were rescued by Lubbock Animal Services from a hoarding situation. She's waited patiently, a grueling 31 days, for the right person to adopt her.

From Lubbock Animal Services:

Ratatouille 24680 is a 1 year old female Pit Bull, who has been with us for 31 days. She was one of ten of our hoarder dogs that came in. At first she was very shy but with a little patience and love and our play groups she opened up a little. She may be shy at first but she will open up. She just needs some TLC and she will be a good dog. She is up to date on all her shots, fixed, and microchipped.

You can sense her shyness from the photo, but you can also see how cute she is, how petite for a pittie, and how soft her chocolate fur looks. This is the type of dog that, once she's warmed up, will love their human fiercely for their entire lives.

She will be a healthy, amazing choice for someone who will put just a little effort in to gain her trust. And since she's been vetted, you know she's healthy in spite of her troubled start in life.

Help little Ratatouille start the new year off right, in a home she can call her own and grow comfortable in. Let her be the fiercely loving and loyal best friend that you deserve.
