Randy Christian Shares Views On Police Substations And Taxes, Unsure About Smoking Ban [INTERVIEW]
On Friday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Lubbock City Council candidate Randy Christian joined Chad in the KFYO studio to share information about himself and his views in the race for the District 5 seat that will be vacated by current council member Karen Gibson.
Christian talked about his background and answered questions about his views on taxes, police substations, Citizen's Tower, and more. While talking about his views on taxes, Christian said,
The last thing you'd want to do is raise taxes. That's going to be my position, why would we want to consider raising taxes? There's got to be a good reason for it, and it better be a darn good one because it's going to hurt me as much as it's [going] hurt any constituents that live within District 5, and live within the city limits of Lubbock Texas.
During the interview, the subject of another looming battle over a smoking ban by the city of Lubbock arose. Christian said he remains unsure how he would stand on that issue.
