Randan Steinhauser Pressing For Expansive School Choice In Texas [INTERVIEW]

Friday on The Chad Hasty Show, Randan Steinhauser, who is Executive Director and co-founder of the non-profit advocacy organization Texans for Education Opportunity joined the show to discuss the issue of school choice in Texas.

With the issue of school choice currently being hotly debated in the state,Texans for Education Opportunity is visible and active in advocating for all forms of school choice, including charter and traditional public schools, and well as home schooling.

While discussing the issues of rural and urban school districts, and the ability of parents in both to have a choice in where their children are educated, Steinhauser said,

Every school doesn't work for every child, and we think it's important that the parents are the ones making the decisions for their child's education, not necessarily the government-determined school that is determined by a zip code.
