Police Arrest Two Thursday Night for Racing in South Lubbock
Lubbock police arrested two men Thursday night (July 26) for racing in South Lubbock.
KAMC News reports an officer was on patrol in the 6300 block of 82nd street around 9 p.m. when two drivers sped past. The officer along with other deputies pulled over the two suspects in the 4400 block of Quaker Avenue.
Twenty-three-year-old Keyhan Travis Moradi was arrested and charged with racing, reckless driving, and endangering a child. Also, 21 year-old Travis Tyrn Reiss was arrested and charged with racing, and reckless driving.
Moradi and Reiss are currently being held in the Lubbock County Detention Center -- Moradi on bonds totaling $5,500 and Reiss on bonds totaling $3,000.
