Lubbock police have made an arrest in the murder of 67-year-old Larry Fawver.

Officers first responded to shots fired on Saturday at around 6:20 p.m. in the 5600 block of 122nd Street. Fawver was found at the scene and pronounced dead.

An investigation by the Metro Special Crimes Unit identified 19-year-old Felix Joseph Alonzo as a suspect over the weekend and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Alonzo has been charged with Murder and Theft of a Firearm. He was booked Sunday, July 14th, into the Lubbock County Detention Center on bonds totaling more than $300,000.
