Plainview Driver Seriously Injured in Crash Was Airlifted to Lubbock

One person was seriously injured following a two-vehicle crash that happened in Plainview on Sunday, March 8th.

KAMC News reports that it happened at around 5:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of W. 5th.

The first vehicle was leaving a private drive while the second vehicle was eastbound in the same area. Reports say the first vehicle failed to yield the right of way and was struck by the second.

The driver, who remains unknown, was taken to the Covenant Emergency Room for incapacitating injuries and was later flown to Lubbock.

The next day they were listed in stable condition.
