Pelosi Invites Trump To Deliver State Of The Union Address

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has re-invited President Trump to deliver the State of the Union Address on Tuesday, February 5th.

Pelosi had previously invited the President to deliver the State of the Union address on Tuesday, January 29th but cancelled due to the government shutdown.

This past Friday, the President and Congressional leaders agreed to temporarily fund and re-open the government until February 15th. The President has indicated another government shutdown could happen if Congressional leaders don't agree on funding for border security, including a wall.
