Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, Congressman Jodey Arrington joined Dave and Matt to talk about the state of Washington D.C., Nancy Pelosi, legislation regarding punishment for assaulting officers, getting America back on track, and more.

The conversation was started when Arrington was asked about the state of D.C., to which he said that Washington D.C. is, "broken as ever, but you know what? It's the process we have to work through to get the right policy outcomes for the American people." Arrington discussed the difficulty of getting things passed in the legislation right now, and that it is especially difficult due to democrats, and people like Nancy Pelosi, who, "plays hardball when it comes to politics," going on to say that the democrats control the agenda in the House, as well as the streets of cities like Portland and Seattle where the leaders have laid down and let the mob walk over them, sewing fear and chaos, and threatening law abiding citizens.

The Congressman continued the conversation saying that he would like people to formally and collectively condemn this type of behavior, and that he is upset with Republicans who do not want to call for law and order, and who do not call out lawlessness. Additionally, he has drafted legislation that would increase the penalty for assaulting law enforcement officers at the federal level.
