Pedestrian Killed in Hit-And-Run Accident

Lubbock Police are investigating a fatal hit and run accident that occurred Thursday night.

At around 11:45 p.m., police received a call that a man was lying in the street in the area of 4^th street and Upland Avenue. Police determined that a male pedestrian was crossing the street and was hit by a vehicle, which fled the scene. The man died on scene.
