1 Person Killed After Shots Fired at Lubbock’s Coronado Inn

One person was killed Thursday morning, Feb. 20th, 2020 in north Lubbock.

Police responded to calls of shots fired at about 6:20 a.m. at the Coronado Inn, located at 501 I-27. One person was found at the scene with serious injuries. They were later pronounced dead at University Medical Center.

It’s unclear exactly how the victim was injured, but police are investigating the incident as a shooting. No suspects have been identified, and no other injuries have been reported.
