It's September 22 and that means the arrival of the Autumnal Equinox, which means Fall is finally here. But when it comes to the weather, Summer-like temperatures are in store for the first day of Fall. So when will we see temperatures more in-line with the season? Here's what some forecasts have to say.

Lubbock To Feel Like Summer for a While Still

Monday in Lubbock, the word Fall is something to hope for if you are a fan of cooler temperatures. Today's high will be around 98 degrees. Very hot and vey much like Summer. The good news? The might and I stress might be the last day we see a temperature hovering around triple digits until next year. No promises though.

Tuesday's high will be around 90 with winds out of the north. On Wednesday we will see high's around 80 degrees but rising again on Thursday and Friday where we could see high temperatures again in the low 90's.

Accuweather in an extended forecast shows a big change in our weather around the middle of October where we could see high temperatures in the lower 70's and even upper 60's.
