More details have arisen from last week’s Prosperity Bank robbery including the amount of cash taken.

The Lubbock Police Department arrested Starlene Casarez Delacruz, 31, for robbing the bank branch at 82nd and University after her Friday morning robbery after receiving tips from a local business.

Newly updated police records indicate Delacruz entered the bank just after 10:30 a.m. threatening and demanding cash from a teller. The teller told police she handed over a large sum of cash, which police tallied to $1,900.

Delacruz, who is listed as homeless on her arrest sheet, fled the scene in a gray 2008 Chevy Impala, which was later seized by police.

The suspected bank robber remains in the Lubbock County Detention Center with bail set at $50,000. No attorney has been listed for Delacruz.
