Multiple People Injured in 2-Vehicle Accident on Highway 62/82

Five people were injured on Tuesday, Jan. 7, in a two-vehicle accident in southwest Lubbock.

Texas DPS reports the accident occurred at about 3:45 p.m. where Farm-to-Market Road 1585 intersects with U.S. Highway 62/82.

A white Dodge pickup reportedly did not yield the right of way while trying to cross the highway and collided with a black Chevy Suburban.

Two adults and three children were treated by EMS for minor injuries.
