Mistake at the AJ…Another Day at the Office

In its Wednesday edition, the A-J reported that councilman Todd Klein donated $100 to the campaign of Jim Gerlt, who is in a run-off against councilman Paul Beane.

Todd Klein did donate to Gerlt. But it was Todd Klein the banker who made the donation, not the councilman.

When asked for a comment, councilman Klein referred KFYO to his Facebook  account.  There, he wrote that  correcting the the A-J’s  error preoccupied much of his morning.  He also wrote that he did not make the donation, and as a general practice, he does not endorse or contribute to  other local candidates.

The A-J revised  its online version of the story.
