Sadie is your wonderful Awesome Adoptable Dog of the Week. This girl really needs some special attention, and is a free adoption now at Lubbock Animal Services.

Sadie is shy, but she has a lot of love to give. It's perfect weather to enjoy the outdoors with her and help her relax and enjoy life again. While Sadie needs someone who can take time with her now, the rewards for doing this will no doubt be great. Sadie would love to be your new best friend.

Here's Sadie's story from Lubbock Animal Services:

Sadie is a 2 year 4 month old blue Pit who came to LAS 7 weeks ago. She is fixed and up to date on her vaccines. Sadie is a standoffish dog that needs a good person or family to help her come out of her shell. She is sweet, but would require patience to get her to fully relax in her new home.

All Awesome Adoptable Dog of the Week adoptions include vaccines, rabies, city license, microchip, and a spay/neuter voucher if the animal is not spayed or neutered already.

Lubbock Animal Services offers a foster-to-adopt program, that allows you to foster for a couple of weeks to see how your new dog works out at your home before adopting. This terrific program allows you to spend time and find the dog that's the right fit for you and your family.
