Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, political analyst and Washington Times columnist Matt Mackowiak joined Chad to talk about the latest in new and politics.

Mackowiak and Hasty discussed the frenzy surrounding Oprah Winfrey, following her speech at the Golden Globe Awards last night, and rumors that she will run for the Oval Office in 2020.

While talking about Winfrey, and the challenges she would face in running for the White House, Mackowiak said,

It's clear that Democrats are searching for a celebrity who can perhaps take on Trump in 2020. That's several lifetimes, in American politics, away.

Hasty and Mackowiak also discussed President Trump's approval ratings, and the footing of the Republican Party in the next election cycle.
