Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, Washington Times columnist and political analyst Matt Mackowiak joined Chad to discuss politics and news from Washington D.C.

Mackowiak and Hasty talked about the GOP health care plan, details in the bill, and what phases the bill will go through in the process of being implemented.

When asked by Hasty if he thought that the Republicans and Democrats will be able to work together to make progress on the issue, Mackowiak replied,

I do. I just think the political risk to President Trump if this thing fails is pretty significant. So my guess is they do find a way through this, but it is going to be a wild two or three weeks to see where it goes from here until the April recess in the House. This thing had to either pass or get pulled down in the next two weeks I think, there's a lot that's going to happen.
