Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, Washington Times columnist and political analyst Matt Mackowiak joined the show to talk about President Trump's address tomorrow evening (Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 8:00 PM Central) to a joint session of Congress, as well as his upcoming State of the Union Speech.

Mackowiak and Hasty also discussed the Democratic National Committee's election of Barack Obama's former Labor Secretary Tom Perez to head the party, Texas political news, and more.

While discussing Perez's election as the head of the Democrat Party, Mackowiak said,

What's striking to me about this is I don't think this puts to bed the Democratic civil war that really is happening on the other side, the Bernie Sanders supporters were very angry that Perez narrowly won the chairmanship.
