Matt Mackowiak: New Attack Ads Show Wendy Davis Campaign’s ‘Depravity’

Matt Mackowiak, GOP strategist and co-founder of Must Read Texas, joined The Chad Hasty Show Monday morning to provide his take on the Wendy Davis campaign's attack ads against Greg Abbott.

According to Mackowiak:

It shows the depravity of the Davis campaign, that there's almost nothing they're not willing to attack in this race. You don't run an ad like this from a position of strength, you run an ad like this from a position of weakness. They obviously believe that they are behind. If they truly believed that the race was tight, they would be running positive ads at this point, after running negative ads for the last two months.

Mackowiak shed more light on the subject, describing the process of how campaign ads are made from conception and research to airing.
