Matt Mackowiak Gives 2014 Texas Election Updates [Audio]

Monday on the Chad Hasty Show, GOP strategist Matt Mackowiak discussed the Gubernatorial race, and other Texas campaigns.

Mackowiak believes the poll showing a difference of eleven points between Wendy Davis and Greg Abbott is accurate. He said, "I think Wendy's come down quite a bit" due to her recent negative media coverage. He believes that now, the question regarding Davis is how well she will appeal to soft Republicans and women voters. He observed: "My guess is her fundraising will go down over the first six months of this year because I think it will become increasingly clear that she's not going to win this race." He believes her biggest challenge will be convincing voters that Texas needs a change of direction that she can provide, although many positive aspects are evident.
