Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, Washington Times columnist and political analyst Matt Mackowiak joined Chad to discuss the latest in news and politics.

Mackowiak and Hasty talked about the announcement by U.S. District 16 Representative Robert Francis "Beto" O'Rourke (D), to oppose Senator Ted Cruz in the 2018 election.

Mackowiak, while questioning O'Rourke's serious intentions, said,

He's running in the wrong state, I think, if he really wants to be a United States Senator.

Mackowiak and Hasty also discussed the ongoing confirmation process of Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court, and the filibuster plans of Democrats.
