Mary Gerlach, assistant director for Lubbock Meals on Wheels joined The Chad Hasty on Tuesday to talk about their upcoming Mardi Gras fundraiser, the annual event which is the organization's largest fundraiser every year.

Lubbock Meals on Wheels is a fantastic local organization which serves over 700 people every day. This year's Mardi Gras party takes place on Tuesday, March 3 from 5:30 until 9:30 p.m. It's a family-friendly event, taking place at the Lubbock Civic Center.

Advance tickets for the event are $35 for adults or $10 for youths 17 and under, and may be purchased at the local Meals on Wheels office at 2304 34th Street or at Select-a-Seat. You may also contact the office for tickets or more information at 792-7971. Tickets are available at the door for $40.

Food will be available from 37 of Lubbock's finest restaurants, as well as live jazz music, a photo booth, spider climber and rock climbing wall, cash bar and many other attractions.
