Man Indicted on Aggravated Sexual Assault Charges

Tuesday, September 8, a Lubbock County grand jury indicted Christobal Colon (53) for aggravated sexual assault of a child.  According to officials, Colon is accused of an ongoing sexual abuse of a little girl that started when she was five years old.

Police reports indicate the abuse took place in Colon’s home, and evidence of penetration has been discovered.

Colon was arrested in August, but was able to post bond to get out of jail. As of Tuesday night, Colon was not listed on the Lubbock County Detention Center's active jail roster.
