Man Arrested for Firing Gun in Stripes Parking Lot

Early Tuesday morning, June 2, a man was arrested by LPD after firing a gun in the parking lot of a Stripes convenience store. 

Police detained the suspect near the Stripes located on the corner of 82nd and the Interstate and reported that no one was injured in the incident.

The suspect who has not yet been named, faces one charge of unlawful carrying of a weapon. Police took an undisclosed amount of others in to custody, and one additional arrest was made for an unrelated charge.
