Mackowiak Talks Stimulus Debate and Biden’s VP Problem

Republican Strategist Matt Mackowiak joined The Chad Hasty Show on Tuesday to discuss a few national headlines.

Mackowiak discussed the latest Senate GOP plan for another round of stimulus checks and unemployment. Mackowiak told KFYO that he believed Congress would pass something before the August recess. Regarding the stimulus plans, Republicans and Democrats are far apart on the details but as Mackowiak pointed out, deadlines can force legislation to come together and the extra unemployment dollars run out at the end of the month.

Mackowiak also discussed the Vice Presidential search for Joe Biden. Mackowiak told KFYO that he believed the race was between two different candidates.
