Lubbock’s Mugshot Monday: 74 People Arrested Weekend of Texas Tech’s Big Win
The weekend has come to an end, and we start the work week over again. Texas Tech beat the University of Texas and I'm told it was a fantastic game. I had a headache all weekend from being at the South Plains Fair for 7 hours on Friday in the heat taking pictures, so I missed it. I did notice from my dark, secluded cave that we had a huge spike in Lubbock County Detention Center arrestees this weekend, all closely related in age. College age, you could say.
Since I'm still recovering from my weekend headache, I suggest that those of you who are fine and dandy go out and a foot-long corn dog from the Dream Center Corndog booth at the fair and wash it down with a lemonade from the Science Spectrum booth. Grab a fried pie from the Oakwood United Methodist Church booth while you're at it. You'll walk off all those calories like I did. Just remember to drink water and wear a hat or bring an umbrella because that sun will get you.
If only we could've warned people this weekend that all the partying would get them, too. Today's lineup is a serious workout for those scrolling muscles because we have a total of 74 mugshots, with 51 of them from Saturday alone. I worked through a migraine to get them all published here.
These 74 mugshots are of people who were arrested on the weekend of September 24th & 25th, 2022 and held in the Lubbock County Detention Center. All people featured are innocent until proven guilty and have only been charged with a crime.
