We fought for Lubbock's food trucks to be allowed to exist. Now, they're proving more than just their awesome cooking skills. They are showing their community spirit, too.

If you haven't been to Rooster's Food Truck Yard yet, you should make plans to go. But on September 30th, Lubbock's best food trucks come together for a good cause.

"Serving Food And Saving Lives" is a fundraiser presented by Razonia McLellan Public Relations to benefit the Lubbock Heart Walk.

According to their Facebook page, the event will feature: "Live music, volleyball, foosball, and games. We will be selling black and red Heart Walk bracelets for $3. And we'll have FREE BEER for those 21 yrs. and older."

On September 30th from 6-10 p.m., you can go get trucked up for a good cause.
