The 30th annual 4th on Broadway celebration will not be happening on Independence Day this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the challenges that have been presented by it.

Broadway Festivals announced on Tuesday that the annual parade and park festivities will be moved to Labor Day, which is on Monday, September 7th, 2020. The plan is to still have a parade at 9 a.m., followed by activities in Mackenzie Park beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Throughout the day, there will be a fishing tournament, eating contests, live music, vendors, and of course the fireworks show that night.

This year's theme will be "Working Together, United We Stand."
