Lubbock Women’s Club Welcomes Guest Joan Lunden to Distinguished Speaker Series [AUDIO]
Today on Lubbock's First News, Ainsley Nelson with the Speaker Series Committee spoke with Tom and Laura about inviting Joan Lunden, a former host of Good Morning America, as the next guest in the Distinguished Speaker Series. Nelson described Lunden as "everybody's favorite mom." Lunden, nearly 63 years old with 7 children, will speak on October 17 during a reception that will begin at 6:30 pm, followed by a dinner at 7:00 pm. Tickets to this event are available to the public for $75 each. They can be obtained by calling the Lubbock Women's Club at (806) 763-6448 or by emailing reservations to reservations@lubbockwomensclub.com.
