Lubbock Woman Assaulted by Five People Tuesday Morning
A Lubbock woman was the victim of an assault from five people early Tuesday morning in the Depot District.
Gabriella Brooke Delgado was walking by herself in the 1700 block of Texas Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Delgado claims that the suspects, whose identities are still unknown, drove up alongside of her and asked if she was alone. After she confirmed she was, the first suspect exited the vehicle and punched her. Then, the four other suspects got out of the vehicle and began hitting and kicking her.
Police were called at around 2:45 a.m. by an unknown individual.
Delgado awoke the next morning and realized the severity of her injuries, the police report said. She told officers that she had already made appointments to see her doctor and dentist due to the injuries she sustained, and that she did not wish for Lubbock EMS to arrive.
