Lubbock Woman Arrested For Attempting to Fire at Neighbors
A Lubbock woman was arrested on Thursday, May 7th after she attempted to fire a handgun at her neighbors.
KAMC News reports Anntonietta Gonzalez’s children were playing outside and took a board off of a neighbor’s house. The neighbor yelled at the children, which upset Gonzalez.
The story’s then differ, with Gonzalez saying her neighbors began attacking her and her children and displayed a handgun before leaving. The neighbors say one victim was pushed by Gonzalez and attacked by her children.
Gonzalez is then said to have retrieved a handgun, pulled back the slide, pointed it at the victims and pulled the trigger. The gun malfunctioned and didn’t fire.
Gonzalez was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and was held in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $10,000 bail.
