Friday, Lubbock Police released video of an armed robbery that took place earlier this week at a Subway restaurant.

On Monday night (August 8) just after 7 p.m., LPD officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Subway located at 4009 19th street.

The report said that an employee was leaving the restroom when he was approached by the suspect, who pointed a gun to his head and moved him to the cash register.

In the video above, you can see part of the robbery that was caught on a surveillance camera. At one point, the suspect holds his gun directly to the employee's back for several seconds before making a bolt for the door and fleeing the Subway restaurant.

The victim complied with all orders he was given and gave the suspect cash from the register.

No injuries were reported as a result of this robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6-ft. tall and weighing 185-200 lbs. According to the Lubbock police, he was wearing all black clothing and blue latex gloves.

The Lubbock Police Department urges anyone with information about this case to call the Crime Line at 741-1000.
