Lubbock Pursuit Leads to Crash; One Arrested

On Tuesday, May 26th, the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office assisted Texas DPS and LPD on a pursuit that ended in a crash.

Lubbock Police attempted to stop a Dodge Ram Pickup that was traveling at over 100 mph around Avenue Q and 34th Street at around 12:30 a.m. The officer lost sight of the vehicle but it was located later by both Lubbock County Sheriff's Office and LPD who became involved in a pursuit.

The vehicle eventually lost control in the 3400 block of Clovis Road and crashed at a Stripes.

The driver of the pickup, 17-year-old CJ Natal, suffered minor injuries and was later booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center for Evading in a Motor Vehicle and additional charges.
