The Shooting Death of Lawrence Brantley

Just before 4 o'clock in the morning on August 18, police were called with reports of shots fired. When officers arrived on the scene, they found Brantley in critical condition with a gunshot wound. Once emergency crews arrived on the scene, the 18-year-old was pronounced dead.

Investigations revealed that Brantley had been arguing with Taylor prior to the shooting. They were both at a house along with dozens of others, Everything Lubbock reported.

After the dispute turned physical, shots were fired and Taylor fled the scene.

Kendrick Taylor is to be considered armed and dangerous. Contact authorities immediately if you spot him, but don't approach.
