[UPDATE] Lubbock Police Searching for Missing Texas Tech Student
[Updated 4:48 p.m. on Jan. 21, 2015] According to Lubbock Police Public Information Officer Lt. Ray Mendoza, Gordon Hon Fang-Wong boarded a Grey Hound bus and left Lubbock of his own free will. The case has been closed after the department spoke with his family.
[Original story] The Lubbock Police Department and Texas Tech Police are jointly searching for a missing Texas Tech student.
Nineteen-year-old Gordon Hon Fang-Wong was last seen in Lubbock this past Saturday, January 17.
Fang-Wong is described as a 6-foot-tall, slim, Asian man with brown eyes and black hair. Fang-Wong also wears brown glasses. He was last seen wearing his brown glasses, a black cap, dark green sweater with white t-shirt underneath and black low cut Adidas tennis shoes.
According to a flyer posted on a Facebook page, Gordon Fang-Wong may be headed to the West Coast and he could be depressed. If you have any information concerning the whereabouts of Gordon Fang-Wong, you’re urged to contact the Lubbock Police Department at 806-775-2865.
