Lubbock Police are currently searching for a suspect who attempted to rob the Boost Mobile location in the 4400 block of 50th Street Thursday morning.

According to an LPD statement, the call of multiple shots fired came in around 10:45 a.m.

Officers have been told that a suspect entered the store with a gun and demanded money. A brief struggle ensued and the victim was able to retrieve the gun and fire at the suspect, who was not injured.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 6 feet tall and 175 lbs. He was last seen wearing a bright blue hoodie and black pants.
