The person shot at the Walmart at 4th Street and Frankford was killed. The shooting occurred around 3:45 p.m.

Police are still searching for the suspect, or suspects, responsible for the shooting.

[Original story] As of 4:30 p.m., Lubbock Police are still searching for a suspect after an afternoon shooting at the Walmart at 4th Street and Frankford Avenue.

According to an eyewitness at the scene, over 20 Lubbock Police Department patrol units arrived at the Walmart during the immediate aftermath of the shooting.

KAMC News reports the shooting happened inside the store, and one person was injured.

Store management and authorities evacuated the store immediately after the shooting.
