Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show, Officer King and Officer Forrester from the Lubbock Police Department joined Chad in the KFYO studio to talk about the department's current recruiting cycle for their next academy class, and the opportunity, this Saturday, to take the entrance exam to begin a great career with LPD.

The exam will take place at 9 a.m. at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center (1501 Mac Davis Lane), and will include math, reading and writing, as well as a physical component.

Those wishing to take the exam must first have applied online, and the application window closes at 5 p.m. on Friday.
