Lubbock Police Arrest Third Suspect in Viral Video Beating at Maxey Park

Lubbock Police earlier this week arrested a third suspect involved in a beating at Maxey Park. The beating occurred earlier this month and a video of the beating went viral online.

KAMC News reports 23 year-old David Rey Ybarra was arrested on Wednesday and booked into the Lubbock County Jail. Ybarra was charged with Aggravated Robbery, which is a first degree felony.

Ybarra is accused of being one of three people in a video seen beating a teenage boy and assaulting a pregnant woman.

Ybarra's father, 41-year-old James Ybarra, was also arrested because of his alleged role in the assault.

David Ybarra is still being held at the Lubbock County Jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
